May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. I am proud to say that Sheila was a part of my life since 1989. She was there with mr through most of my life, being my best friend and most importantly a mentor through my whole life. She was a person I confided on and someone who truly became a part of my family. Through the years the advice given by Sheila was the best advice a person could give. She will always have a special place in my heart and will always be seen as part of my family. Her spirit will continue to live with in our lives and she will never be forgotten. I hope that god gives her family the strength during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with the Medow Family. Much Love, Santiago Muno and Family.

Her gift for teaching was passed on to her son, Josh. With admiration, I watched him teach many health care trainees. Succinct, with a touch a humor to lighten high intensity situations and always welcoming questions. Teachers like them make the world a better place. My family extends our hearts to yours.

Our family sends heartfelt condolences to Sheila's family as we are greatly saddened by the news of her passing. Two of our three children were in the beloved Mrs. Medow's kindergarten classroom at Crow Island where they began each day with her warm smile and hug. We all have fond memories of her impact on those years of early learning and transition to the "big" school. Blessings to her family.

Mrs. Medow was the sweetest, gentlest and kindest human being on earth, with the most beautiful heart and soul. She was the best kindergarten teacher one can dream for! She brought my quiet daughter out of her cocoon to became a vibrant butterfly. We're so fortunate to have met her! Heartbroken to hear, and our deepest sympathies to the family...

Two of our four children were lucky to have Mrs. Medow as their teacher. What a fabulous experience - and in fact one became a teacher - am sure because of her influence! We are so sorry to find out about your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Mrs Medow was one of the most inspirational teachers we had. Her enthusiasm was infectious and we will never forget her smile and warmth. At such an important part of our lives, she taught us to be kind, care for one another, and show compassion. She will be dearly missed. Sending our thoughts and prayers to her family.

Three of my four kids had Sheila, and she set the tone for their loving Crow Island. She was such a warm, loving teacher, and a fabulous educator to boot. This is such a devastating loss. I am so sorry.

I want to tell you how much my two children loved Mrs. Meadow. She was their kindergarten teacher, and though they are now 16 and 13, they still talk about her and their memories of that year. She was amazingly loving but firm, and the kids adored her. I will always be grateful to her for giving my kids a curiosity for the world around them and a passion for learning that will benefit them throughout their lives. Sheila was a beautiful person who's smile was contagoius and who made a difference for so many children. If you measure a life by the number of people you help and the good you do while here, then Shelia must be resting peacefully, knowing she lived a very full and meaningful life. I know her family will miss her greatly, and the thoughts and prayers of our family go out to all of hers.
