Shellie:
You were one of a kind. We met in Devonshire and got to know each other when your were a freshman going to Niles North. I will always miss your beautiful smile and the long phone conversations we had in recent years. You were so worried about others and not showing a sign of your worries for yourself! I will miss you forever!

The suffering and eventual passing away of Shellie will remain the most undeserved of such a precious person. Her natural beauty emanated from the inner glow of her pure and loving heart.
As much as we have been blessed to have known her, that is how much we will miss her presence in our lives.

Sincerely, Gerald and Roberta Markbreit

A friendship that started many years ago as Evanston condo neighbors blossomed in our 2004 Feb trip to Costa del Sol despite Shellie missing her typical comfortable bedding. When assured we weren't issued box springs for sleeping, she set about making the tiny suite comfortable. No complaining ...same as she did fighting AML as she deeply wanted to continue living and loving her precious sons families, Pucci and Blooma. Her incites on life along with a few good laughs during almost daily phone chats will be sadly missed but forever treasured as a blessed gift! Rest in Peace dearest Shellie Rose.
