So sorry for your loss. May you find peace from God and from your most fond memories.

One thing that I remember about President Monson was his stories about dropping everything to visit someone who he felt impressed to visit.

I would like to express my deepest condolences to the family for their loss. May you find comfort and help in God during this time of sorrow.
(Psalms 86:17)

This is a little bit late but I'm getting a chance now to view President Thomas S. Monson's funeral coverage.

Today being Sunday, it reminds me that I always looked forward to Sunday morning general conference sessions because it seemed that was his usual time to speak.

I also enjoyed his fun-loving, yet meaningful stories, much of the time to young men during priesthood sessions.

Having been a missionary in Germany, I appreciated his love for the German Saints and I was particularly excited when temples were announced in Germany, especially the one in East Germany even before the Berlin Wall came down and hearing his stories about that. President Nelson was also involved.

Finally, my wife and I had the chance to meet President Monson in a church parking lot after he spoke in my brother's ward, and he remembered knowing my grandfather.

Thank you, President Monson. May the blessings of heaven bring consolation to your family in this time of loss. He will be missed.
