I first met Virginia at George Williams College where she was my instructor.l Later, when I joined CPS and taught at Simeon we became friends..Joining Henry Suder Club, the professional organization for women physical educators, our relationship grew. And as we all would agree, Ginny's fudge was the bomb. She was the best as whatever she did!we will miss our mentor.

I have know Virginia since I was in high at South Shore. She was my Physical Education teacher. I have been blessed to call her a teacher, mentor and friend. The world was a better place for 103 years!

I met Ginny when I joined the New Mixers Bowling league in the late 1990's. She was one of the most amazing and interesting ladies I have ever known. She embraced life, was kind to all, and loved getting a strike. My life is richer for having had her in it. My sympathies to her family and to all who loved her.

What a fireball. Girls' Athletics at CPS owe their very existence to Virginia. Thank you, Ginny.

Condolences to her family and thank you for sharing Virginia with us.
