Caroline, just wanted you to know what a nice service you had for Jim and that we were sorry we could not stay longer. Also wanted to know if there was somewhere we could send a donation in his memory.
Love to you and all your family. I know he will be greatly missed.

I HAVE KNOWN JIM SINCE 1952 WHEN WE MOVED TO STIRLING CITY, I HUNG AROUND WITH HIS BROTHER BUTCH (WE BOTH HAD THE SAME BIRTHDAY AND PLAYED FOOTBALL-AND I HAD A CRUSH ON HIS SISTER COOKIE. WE GOT TO KNOW JIM BETTER AFTER HE RETIRED AND MOVED BACK TO STIRLING AND I RETIRED FROM THE NAVY. I WORKED WITH JIM TO GET HIS HOUSE READY FOR HIS FAMILY.
MY WIFE MARILYN AND I BECAME GOOD FRIENDS WITH HIM AND CAROLINE AND SPENT LOTS OF TIME TOGETHER. WE HUNTED AND RODE QUADS MANY MILES TOGETHER.
JIM WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED FOR HIS SENSE OF HUMOR AND HIS TENACITY TO AVOID GOING DOWN THAT DRAIN. HE FOUGHT FOR EVERY MOMENT HE HAD IN LIFE IN-SPITE HIS MANY HEALTH PROBLEMS. HIS DEVOTION TO HIS KIDS AND GRAND KIDS WAS UNENDING.
I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HIM A BOTH A FRIEND AND A BROTHER. JIM- YOU WILL ALWAYS BE CHERISHED. YOU ARE A LOSE TO EVERYONE WHO KNEW YOU AND WILL BE MISSED!
WITH LOVE AND REPECT- GARY & MARILYN CONNOR
