My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Skip Gray

As a missionary family, we were always welcomed and cared for by Ellen and her family. We loved her passion for missions, culture, books, (so many times Ellen gave us books-what a blessing!!) and most of all -- we loved seeing her passion for sharing Jesus. We enjoyed hearing Ellen talk about how she loved her husband, children, and grandchildren. What a great testimony she had as a wife, mother, and grandmother-- and for us, a precious friend. We will miss her but praise the Lord for a life well lived. Much love from all of us to all of the family.

As an international student of Kent State, I first met Ellen in a Thanksgiving celebration event. Her smile and kindness impressed me deeply. Later on, we have more interactions. I enjoyed having conversation with her in the summer while my car was fixed in her family''s Volvo Shop. My husband assisted her making stamps in Chinese, which is used in making cards. That's her way to support the One Girl Allowed program. She comforted many moms in our country by sending them hand made cards to celebrate the birth of their daughters. What she and Carl do demonstrates perfectly the life of real Christians.
