Thomas Lee Lauwers
CHILLICOTHE: Thomas Lee Lauwers, 55, of Chillicothe, was taken from us 12:19 a.m. Monday, July 4, 2016 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following a long courageous battle with cancer.
He was born April 4, 1961, in Findlay, Ohio, to the late Alfonse and Geneva Grismore Lauwers. On October 17, 2015, he married the former Ruth Peoples who survives.
Also surviving are daughters, Kristen (Jerome) Crum, Jennifer (Andrew) Dollarhide, Emilee Peoples and Nakyla Peoples; grandchildren who would always light up his face regardless of how he felt, Jade Hammer, Zoe Brown, Riley Brown, Lucren Crum and Aryn Dollarhide; brothers, Walter Lauwers, Mark Lauwers and Kenneth Lauwers; sisters, Deborah Morrison and Kathy Lauwers; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Larry Lauwers.
Thomas was a good man a loving husband, father and grandfather. He had a great sense of humor and could always brighten up a room.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2016 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Randall L. Rinehart officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Ware Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
