It is will much sadness to find the obituary of our beautiful former neighbour. We lived at 1 Leys Street for a number of years and lost touch over time. It was in January 2000 that I had the occasion to reconnect with Lynn. She cared for our father while he was in the hospice and I always felt it special that our once neighbour was with him at the end.

I recall getting a call at 5:00 a.m. that dad's end was near, and I raced over to find Lynn at his bedside.

Lynn's kindness and caring have always stayed with me. It is by happenstance I was searching her out this evening on-line such that next time in Thunder Bay perhaps I could phone or visit and expend my appreciation for making the loss of my father easier.

Please know that Lynn has touched so many lives. I am but one who had the gift of her presence at a difficult time.

Life is precious. Let us not lose sight of each day we have. My heart felt condolences to the Lehto family.

I have never known camp without Lynn next door - with her easy, infectious laugh, her passion for and willingness to share her knowledge of gardening and canning, enjoying times around the bonfire and truly living life. Cheryl is with you today as you grieve your loss and celebrate Lynn's life, but I still wanted to pass along our deepest sympathies as well. Although we will all miss her very much, she will live on in our memories of the times we had with her. . . and I expect there may be a wee bit of reminiscing about those times when we meet around the bonfire again this summer. :)
