This news comes as a total shock! Alison was one of a small handful of women who completed the 3,800 cross-country cycling adventure in Aug-Sep-Oct 2017 with me. We averaged 93 miles/day! I was always impressed by her stamina and gritty tenaciousness. She hung in there always, finishing strong everyday. She rode quietly and with determination, never whining when the going got tough. She'll be missed!

I was in shock and disbelief when I heard of Alisons sudden passing. It has left a numbing sadness. My deepest condolences go out to her loved ones. I first met Alison during a bike race. She was super strong, incredibly tough, yet such a kind, sweet soul. She was a joy to ride with. Her determination to get back in the saddle after more than one serious crash, broken bone or injury was inspiring. She truly loved to ride her bike. It was always such a pleasant surprise to find her in the pack and hear of her latest travels and bike adventures. Shed always humor me as Id greet her with my best rendition of Elvis Costello. Alison, she will be truly missed.

I was shocked and saddened to heard about Alison's passing. She and I started working at Cincinnati Bell the same year. Not only was she a co-worker but more importantly a friend. I'm still in disbelief. She will truly be missed.
