I'm saddened by this but my memories are of much happier times. Thinking of Uncle Pete first reminds me of his commanding but somehow gentle voice and his smile. He was central to so many family events and gatherings. Like many of the family "kids" my favorite memories are at Torch Lake and I fondly remember him there as father, uncle, sailor, wood worker, and more. I thought he knew everything.

I send my deepest sympathy to Bruce Petrie's family and his many friends. His contributions to the greater community will forever be appreciated.

My fondest memories are when the Stevens and Petrie , and Eberhart cousins got together on holidays or saw each other in Michigan on Torch Lake. I will think of Uncle Pete rowing on Torch Lake in peace and serenity. Love from niece Susan

It is a blessing to be able to light this candle in memory of my Uncle Bruce and his family. I have many good memories of the early years growing up in Cincinnati.
