What I Knew and like about Johnny is that he is one of the best well known railroad narrators for Greg Scholl of Batavia Ohio from 1986's Via F's in the rockies to 2016's N&W 611 Trilogy Volume 3. From all of the railfans who grew up with him and many of Greg's Videos with John's narration only, this is another sad loss for all of the railfans in the present days. Hopefully, he'll say hello to Greg's Parents Warren W. and Doretha, and also America By rail Music composer Mike Lynch.

He was my best friend. He opened my eyes to the world of politics and even though we didn't share the same views we had similarities and other categories.

I will miss you john.

Extending my sincere sympathy to the Hingsbergen family for your loss. May you find comfort in God's promises found at Isiah 51:12

Judy and I extend our sympathy to Cheri, Clare, Jay, and the rest of the Hingsbergen family.

John was a friend of mine who had a deep interest in radio broadcasting most all his life. I first met John 47 years ago when he and I were in the seminary. At the time, a primary interest of his was running a low-power radio station from the basement of the building. It doesn't surprise me at all that he was so dedicated and successful in his broadcast endeavors at WMOH, WMUB, and WEKU.

A lot of people will miss John and his big smile.

Eternal rest grant unto John, O Lord,
and may he shine in the Perpetual Light of Jesus.
May he rest in peace.
Amen
