I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of mr. Mitchell. I had the pleasure of meeting him and his sweet wife years ago at max & ermas restaurant. They always made my day to wait on them! He will be missed by all.

What an impactful man "Mr. Mitchell" was to so many! My very existence is attributed to Jack introducing my parents to one another in Morganfield, Kentucky where he and my father were stationed at Camp Breckenridge in 1951. They remained life-long friends, and our families were "family" to one another through the years. I was very sad to hear of his passing, and our deepest condolences go to his entire family. He was a man of many talents and one of the kindest and sincerest souls I have ever had the pleasure to have known. God bless you and keep you and give you peace, dear one.

My Dad and Jack were buddies at Brookwood. Our entire family loved him and we will miss seeing him there. It won't be the same without him...

I had the honor and pleasure of getting to know Jack through our business dealings. He was without a doubt one of the nicest and most genuine people I ever encountered. I thought very highly of the man. Prayers for the family through this time of sorrow.
