Paula and family,

So very sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. She was such a warm and friendly lady. She was also very proud of her children. I'm so sorry that I missed the funeral. I hope your memories help to comfort you and bring peace.

Love, Ray and Carol Hafner

Sincere sympathy to Joyce's family. Her sister Vivian and my sister Mary (Lacefield) Mulvaney were best friends in Mt. Adams in the late 1940s and early 1950s. I have fond memories of time spent with Vivian and her little sister Joyce. I remember fondly that although I didn't know Joyce very well as she was a few years younger she was a pretty girl and very sweet and friendly. Vivian and my sister were extremely close as teen-agers. I attended Woodward High School with Joe Somori. He sat next to me in Spanish class. Only after Joe's passing did I find out he and Joyce were married. Joyce and Vivian's mother and step-father were a good family. After I married and left Cincinnati we
lost touch.
God's blessing in comfort to Joyce's loved ones at this sad time.

Joyce was a friend of our family, her and my mother grew up together in Mt.Adams. I've known her all of my life. She was such a sweet lady, and a bundle of laughs as well. I would see her from time to time at Bingo, or a church festival and we would talk and talk like we seen each other every day. When she was a crossing guard, I would drive by her on my way to work and we would smile and wave to each other. She always made me feel important. God Speed Joyce. Thank you for all the wonderful memories. Say hi to my parents and brothers. Love Shirley
