My heartfelt sympathy to Marcy's family and friends. I was a classmate with her at McAuley (class of '79). In the '80s I worked briefly with her husband and remember him as being a whiz at programming. I crossed paths with Marcy briefly in the early 2000s while I was a parishioner at St. John's West Chester. She was a beautiful person, inside and out, who played the hand life dealt her with tremendous strength, courage and humility. As she is reunited with Michael, may warm memories of Marcy comfort all of you during the days ahead.

I walked Miss Marcy's dog for around two years and my words cant express what a wonderful person she was, even to me, who she only saw for about five minutes every two weeks. She was so kind and generous, from giving me gift cards and thank you notes to insisting that I take her last soda on a sweltering day. She was always thoughtful and she truly was an amazing person. I am very sorry to hear she has passed away and she will always have a place in my heart for her outright kindness. She must have been even more amazing to those of you who knew her and I hope that I can share the love she gave to me and everyone she knew with others.
