My hearfelt condolences go out to you all. Ed was a true friend to all. He was very compassionate when my mom died and always had the right thing to say. Our Association had lost an advid and staunch supporter for future generations, but we learned so much!

Rest in Peace my friend and watch over us from above!

I am so glad I was able to call Ed and Jane friends. We met through the USS Wisconsin Association and became fast friends. They are just good people. My family suffered the loss of 4 family members just 93 days apart and we received some beautiful cards and a prayer shawl from Ed and Jane. They continue to check on us and send beautiful cards to let us know that we remain in their thoughts and prayers.

We had such fun at the reunions and I loved Ed's laugh when something funny would happen, he couldn't contain himself. My favorite memory was Ed getting off the elevator on the wrong floor at one of our reunions....we laughed until we cried over that. After that we would announce the floors at each stop to keep him from getting off on the wrong floor.

Those kind of memories are part of what made Ed so special. I know that Ed is in heaven and is in no more pain and I am thankful for having known such a kind man.

RIP Ed..you are loved and missed.
