Many years have passed, but have memory of attending Pleasant Hill and seeing "Dean". Prayers are with the family!

Homer was a good friend. We served together while on the USS GEORGIA (SSBN 729) (GOLD). Can't think of a more dedicated and supportive Chief Petty Officer. I was fortunate to have been his COB where I always was able to rely on Homer for so many different things. I also appreciated his retirement ceremony where we were able to thank him for his many years of service to the Submarine Force. I always said that is I ever had to put a submarine crew together, Homer would have been on it. I will miss him. - Don Kultti.
