Jim Armstrong was an exceptional man. He was sincere, funny, always making someone laugh or just the opposite, consoling someone. He had a huge heart and lived life as it should be lived. He was a person you just had to love. He'll be sorely missed by so very many.

I met Mr. Armstrong when I was decorating and furnishing my mother's apartment at Aldersgate before she moved in in February 2016. Because I am about the height he was in his wheelchair, I could hug him easily and he had the warmest hug and sweetest smile. I enjoyed knowing him. My mother Lucile Cole and all the residents of Aldersgate and those of us who knew him in an extended family sort of way will sorely miss his presence and await the day we get to spend time together again in his new home!

We will miss your Dad very much. He was a wonderful person and a wonderful minister. Our prayers and thoughts are with your families. Lou, Jerri and John Borum

Jamie,Tim,Hans and Family..
Look forward to being with you all at your dads celebration of life..many things can be said about his life(not all in church) he had a profound influence on me, and I know he and my dad are having a reunion in the great beyond..A quote you all might have seen me post.."Death is not extinguishing of the light; its only putting out the lamp because the dawn has come" Rabindrath Tagore...I was feeling lost after dad passed and that is what caught my attention knowing the difficulty Jim faced as did dad in their last two years on this earth ~Stanley Grose
