Lardner was a wonderful friend and counselor as I struggled to adjust to life in Japan. He gave a great lecture series at my university. He counseled my friend who had just realized her husband was leaving her. Her pain was alleviated and she dealt with the sorrow in a positive way.

Many memories of cousin Lardner, name sake of my Grandfather, Lardner Moore. Visit w/ family to Portland, Oregon, meeting Mollie and Lardner in Osaka, his insights to the Japanese life, fun time double bouncing on a diving board at a long time ago family reunion. Miss is contagious laugh and smile. he loved the Lord and served will in Japan.
Will see him again some day. As grandpa Moore would say, "these bones will rise again.!"

I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. You can be assured that God feel your pain. You can call to God in your distress and he answered you. (Psalms 120:1) May you trust in God at all times and pour out your heart before him. He will hear your cry for help and give you comfort. Your family have my deepest condolences.

I send heartfelt love and deep sympathy to the family on the loss of Uncle Lardner. My mother Carmelita, and I, wish we could be there. Please know you are in our hearts.
