age 67, of Medina, OH, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 10, 2018. She was born December 7, 1950 to the late Charles K. and Ruth (Weibel) Newberry in Akron, OH. Becky was an active member of Granger United Methodist Church, where she spent time teaching Sunday school and volunteering with a wide array of church activities. She was also actively involved with the Medina Hospital Auxiliary, chairing the Cotillion Ball one year. This was close to her heart, because in high school, she attended the Cotillion Ball with her future husband, Bob. Becky fondly remembered her time as a cheerleader at Highland High School and enjoyed traveling throughout the country and Europe with Bob as he coached AAU Basketball for Cleveland Basketball Club. In her adult life, she greatly enjoyed her time spent sewing and quilting with her sister and their close friends; and she cherished her time spent with family and friends in Ocean City, MD. Above all else, Becky will be remembered as someone who gave all that she had to other people, thinking of their needs before her own. This love was shown most evidently in the way that she cared for her family, both near and far. She is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Bob; children, Drew (Tiffany)Miller, Helene Llory, Sabine Teboul, Mario Zaldivar, Carlos Bayo, Jan Jagla, Robertas Javtokas, Donatas Zavackas, Aly Samabaly, Alassane Kouyate, Ibrahim Konate, and Gabriel Garcia; grandchildren, Ethan and Emersen Miller, Kadia, Aichata, and Jordan Kouyate, Safina, Adriella, and Altesse Samabaly, and eight other international grandchildren; siblings, Chick (Terri) Newberry and Leanne (Jack) Spencer; Aunt and Uncle, Harry (Allene) Weibel. Becky is preceded in death by her parents; as well as her precious grandson; Gabriel R. Miller. A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Waite Funeral Home 765 N. Court Street Medina, Ohio 44256. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Granger United Methodist Church, 1235 Granger Rd, Medina, OH 44256. Rev. Bruce Hartley will officiate. Burial will follow at Granger- Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the Gabriel R. Miller Scholarship Fund c/o The Salisbury School, 6279 Hobbs Rd., Salisbury, MD 21804. Online condolences at www.waitefuneralhome.com

So sorry for all of our loss. She will be missed. She had so much faith and faith carried her through to the end. We will never forget her love, her love for her family. So many talents that she never wasted. Beauty that was abundant. God gained another angel and her suffering is gone but her love will always be with us. Roy and Ginger Short
