Mrs. Harcharik was a gracious, gentle, courageous woman and the very definition of the word "mother". Devoted to family, she was also a very astute fan of one of her son Mark's favorite hobbies; high school football, and, in particular, The Benedictine Bengals. Our gang cared about her very much. Mrs. Harcharik, I know you are resting in God's Loving Arms, and I'm certain that you will have an endless supply of Russell Stover candies with the soft centers. Much love and respect.

I was lucky to have had a short time to get to know you, Betty. What a sweet, gentle lady you were, with a smile that lit up your entire face! I'll never forget your love of Tootsie Rolls and how you lit up when Sue would sneak them to you!

I can still hear your voice calling your sons in for lunch. Yup, you were one of the nice ladies in the neighborhood. -Virginia (Pavli) Moore

Betty, I miss you so much already. You were the best mother in law ever. You were always so very kind but you had a sharp wit and a cute sense of humor. Your were welcoming to me the day I arrived. We got to know each other well. You were there for me many times as I hope I was there for you. We cried and laughed together. I will miss you with every inch of my heart. I know that you are now with all of your loved ones in heaven. Be at peace Betty. I love and miss you. God Bless You Betty Jean Harcharik. Love Susan
