Keelin and family,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom. She used to talk about her children with such pride and love. I truly enjoyed working along side her when she would come into Best Buy. Again, I am so sorry!

I remember meeting Colleen and Jimmy when they were a young married couple. They were very nice and was glad to finally meet them thru Jeri. I last saw Colleen at Mrs Hagan's wake. May she rest in peace.

Dear Jeri, Michelle, Brian, Cheryl, Kellie, Patrick and Neil:

Words by themselves cannot express the sorrow I feel at the loss of such a great sister of yours, whose departure from our world has left such a huge void of aching emptiness in all of our hearts. We will all miss her unquenchable and contagious spirit of joy and laughter, in the inspiring life she lived with full enthusiasm in all that she encountered.

NOTE: The photo was taken in the summer of 1965, in Aunt Sissy & Uncle Johns backyard. L to R: Grandma Hagan; Colleen; Grandpa Hagan; Aunt Mary Kay and Jack Barrett.
I recall when this photo was taken, that Colleen, having just ended her nursing home workday, shared with us that she had witnessed the passing into Eternal Life of one of her very ill residents.
Colleen related how this same resident suddenly became overcome and radiant with an unmistakable look of joy and happiness on her face - having seen obviously something so very wonderful no one else in the room could see - just prior to that residents passing away.
I never forgot Colleens story, and have no doubt it was replicated in her own passing from this world to her Eternal Home.

I am deeply sad I will not be able to be with you tomorrow: be assured I will not be far from you in my loving thoughts and prayers.

Eternal Rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Colleens soul and the souls of all the Faithful Departed, through the mercy of God, Rest In Peace, Amen.

May Choirs of Angels lead you into Paradise;
And may the Martyrs come to welcome you;
To bring you home, into the Holy City,
So you may dwell in New Jerusalem.

May holy Angels be there at your welcoming;
With all the Saints who go before you there;
That you may know the peace and joy of Paradise,
That you may enter into Everlasting Rest.

Colleen was married to my best friend ( Jimmy Rybak ). We all went to CSU in the late 60s. We double dated a lot. It was on our way to Put In Bay near Cedar Point in Jimmy's 1962 Chevy Nova. An announcement came over the radio of Neil Armstrong setting foot on the moon, July 16, 1969.
Later they would get married and had Gilly, Kerrie and Bradley. I would move to Alaska in 1972.
Life would be hard for Colleen. Jimmy developed MS ( the fast one ), Bradley would pass, testing her again. Thru it all she persevered.Help from her father and uncle where there to support her. THEY were her Angels.
Her HEART was strong, as was her LOVE of her family.
A woman of Integrity and Strong Will.
GOD BLESS to GILLY and KERRIE and the entire Hagan Family.
