Passed away peacefully at Hospice in Strongsville, Ohio on July 29, 2020 after a long illness. He was born January 30, 1962 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was 58 years old. Friends and family will remember Don as an animal lover who enjoyed watching and feeding the birds, squirrels and animals in the Cleveland Metroparks. Always taking in a stray cat or two. He didn't have much, but he shared what he had with those who needed it. He always went where the wind took him. In his younger days he went on many travels and had many adventures. He was an avid "Rock" fan who loved music and a faithful Cleveland Browns fan. Don is survived by his long-time companion Gail Gauthier; his parents Benjamin and Stella Trujillo; his brothers Harold (Estell), and Roger (Susan) Trujillo; his sisters Edith Francis, Audrey Henteges, Martha Trujillo, Abigail Eckerman (Larry), and Emily Trujillo (Jeff); numerous nieces and nephews. Don had many friends from all walks of life, especially Steve (Linda) & Tim Garner who were lifelong friends. And his dear friend Robert Dedith & family who were his other family and loved him for who he was. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
