Just found out about Thelma! She was truly a gift from God! At John Adams I was very shy and Thelma made me feel worthwhile which gave me confidence! Peace

I am so saddened today to learn Thelma won't be helping me with my notes with the MLK chorus! She won't be picking me up to go to BSF (Bible Study Fellowship)! Nor will I have the pleasure of attending her church to see her and have a meal afterwards! Sounds so selfish but Thelma was so giving, of her talent, her time, her treasures! I thank God for the time He blessed us with her presence! I look forward to the time we get to be together for ALL eternity! God gets the glory for her gifts she shared, for the life of excellence she displayed and then, her acceptance for her soul!

A gifted and talented musician has been added to Gods choir of angels. Thelma will be missed by her earthly family and friends but she will live on through the students she influenced, her church family, loved ones and many friends. God gave her special gifts which she graciously shared with all the children and adults she touched. She will be missed but never forgotten.

My prayers and condolences are with all of you. Thelma and I shared many stages, events, groups, etc. and she was my colleague and later, my supervisor. Most recently we sang together in our Panhellenic Choir. I am missing my friend. May GOD comfort all of you with the beautiful memories of an amazing, talented woman: Thelma D. Williams.

We were absolutely shocked to hear of the loss of Thelma. I feel that I have know her forever because of our church family/ Advent. My husband hasn't know her as long, however, he was introduced when she play her harp during our wedding ceremony. I always knew I would ask Thelma to play it for me whenever that day arrived. She was wonderful as always. I simply can't imagine that harp without its rightful caretaker.

Thelma was a warm, giving woman who will be truly missed. I knew her from Hts High where she worked with special ed children. My son probably would not be the productive young man today had she not taken him under her caring wing. Thank you Thelma and may you rest in peace as you share your musical gifts with God's angels.

What a talented person with character and a personality to match. I am blessed to have known Thelma as a fellow classmate and later as a member of the Pan Hellenic Choir. One can only imagine hearing her lovely soprano voice and melodic sounds of the harp from heaven, and oh yes cheering us on as we continue to navigate our earthly life (she was a cheerleader at our high school). May God give the family peace, strength and endurance during their time of sorrow.

I worked with Thelma at the CH-UH BOE in Special Education. She was one of the most caring teachers in Special Education. She helped so many! Thelma was also musically talented, she played the harp at Shannon's wedding, it was beautiful! She was truly a remarkable person and will be missed.

I went to John Adams High School with Thelma. We were classmates but unfortunately lost touch after graduation. I still have here high school photo (1965) with a wonderful sentiment. May she rest in eternal peace.
