(nee Christensen), age 71, born February 2, 1948, passed away October 17, 2019. Gail A. Cohill (ne Christensen), 71, of Reynoldsburg, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Willowbrook Christian Home. Gail was born on February 2, 1948, in Elyria, Ohio, daughter of Arthur and Helen Christensen. Gail was a graduate of Olmsted Falls High School, class of 1966. She lived in the Cleveland area most of her life, with a few years in Tampa, Florida and most recently in Reynoldsburg, Ohio near her daughters. Gail retired from the Berea branch of the U.S. Post Office in 2011, after 35 years of service. She was known for her love of both Jesus and Jimmy Buffett. She loved playing cards, gardening, music and spending time with her family and friends. She was a prayer warrior. Gail loved the color blue and the bright colors of the beach. In her honor, please wear bright blue or any bright color on Friday and Saturday. Gail is survived by her daughters; Michele (David) Shimp and Elly (Michael) King; her sisters, Esther (Joe) Kusic, and Gretchen (Doug) Lyon; grandchildren, Monica and Christopher Shimp, and Brayden, Jacob (Jak) and Matthew King, and several dear nieces, nephews and cousins. Gail was preceded in death by her son, Eric; her brother, Richard, and her parents. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 26 at 10 a.m. at Sycamore Creek Church, 8100 Refugee Rd., Pickerington, OH 43147. Family will receive friends at the Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg, OH 43068 on Friday, October 25 from 6-8 p.m., and on Saturday, October 26 from 9-10 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to either Sycamore Creek Church, 8100 Refugee Rd., Pickerington, Ohio 43147, or the Reynoldsburg Senior Center, 1520 Davidson Dr., Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068. I was Gail's Water Aerobic instructor at the Groveport Recreation Center. I am deeply sadden with the passing of Gail. I always enjoyed having Gail in my class , she always brighten my day and the others in class. My deepest symphony to the family. Gail will truly be missed.
