George always met me with a smile and was always kind. Most of my memories are from high school, but, he was always the pleasant, smiling George whenever our paths did cross, after graduating.
My Condolences, Prayers & Love to Jan, Randy, Kim and their families; and to His children, Eric and Melanie.
Sincerely,
Roger Golden (Nordonia1978)

George, you are the guy who gave our family one of the best gifts ever, my niece Melanie. Even though we haven't seen you in a while, I feel like your spirit will live on through her. You were always such a hard working man and you did your best to take care of your family. Rest easy and Go Tribe!

George gave me the best gift ever with our daughter Melanie. He was always bragging about how smart Eric and her are and that they got it from him. They both will carry on his intense love for Cleveland sports. I’m so glad that they have each other now to get through this. Rest comfortably George, you deserve it. Your kids have got it from here.

Even though we have not meant George, we feel like we know him through stories talked about by his mother Jan. Many an afternoon spent with Jan and Joe on our side porch on Catawba Island were spent talking family stories. Our hearts go out to her and all of her family . May good memories of George help during this grieving period.
