Such an amazing woman of faith. She is someone I always admired and looked up to, a Camp Christopher icon. She surely raised an amazing family with love and devotion. May God pour out his comfort on all the Longville family as you mourn her loss. May the memories of love and joy ease your sorrows.

I have many fond memories of Mrs. Longville but one of my favorite occurred in the mid-1960s when I was about 6 yrs old. The Longvilles were just ending a big party at their house and in clean-up mode when I went over to see if one of the kids wanted to play. As Mrs. Longville was taking leftovers off the tables, she asked me if I were hungry. I said, "No, I already ate!" She then replied with a big smile on her face, "Well, maybe you'd like to take these home and share them with your brothers and sisters!" It was the biggest bag of Cheetos that I could have only dreamed about. I think my eyes became the size of saucers and my smile covered my entire face. Oh, would I! I hope that I had said "thank you" but I was already floating on air and soared home just around the corner in two seconds. We had that bag opened and devoured so fast loving every second of that incredible treat! It was so superior to the usual boring snacks that we got.
Mrs. Longville was always so kind and generous and I feel so fortunate to have known her.
Our deepest sympathy to all of the Longvilles for your loss.

I lived next door to the Longvilles from 1954-1976. Helen was a very nice lady. In 2005-2006 I spoke to her by phone, and sometimes in person, when my mom (Therese) was ill; then during the 3 years that it took to sell the house (3923 Northampton).

After my wife Micki passed, I sent Helen a check for masses at the Lady of Lourdes Shrine in Euclid, OH. She made two personal trips to arrange these. She was a high energy individual devoted to God and her family. May she rest in peace.
