Dear Nanny,
I love you so much. You were my biggest Hello and hardest Goodbye. You will forever hold a place in my heart until we meet again. We will remember your love, your sense of humor, your kindness, and most of all, your heart. Thank you for giving me my beautiful mother, my Papaw, my beautiful aunts and uncle, and my many cousins who will all carry on your memory. It will be so hard living without you, but we promise to always make you proud. I will love you forever.

Nanny, I cannot begin to put into words how your passing feels inside me. So this poem helps
express how much you meant to the world.

A woman of extreme strength, courage and love,
Who was beautiful, soft and now peaceful and free as a dove.
Someone on who our admiration was built around,
For her womanhood, wife, friend and grandmother since she was brought into this ground.

My Darling Grandma, we will forever hold in our hearts in which we have truly learned the most from,
Your strength as a wonderful mother to our mothers and fathers,
And which we hope to gain in raising your great grandsons and great granddaughters.

My darling grandma, we will always respect all you went through in your hardships and distinguished ways,
Your ability to hold yourself with such dignity and pride in all your days,
Your beauty shines in us all who were lucky to be part of your devoted family,
We will carry you in our eyes, minds, and hearts in which we have a remedy,

My Darling Grandma, that is to hold you close by all you have taught us to do,
And to remember the beautiful women we owe our lives to,
For giving us life to blessing us with her strong inner spirit of courage,
Her unconditional love and her sensual laughter,
For being such a person in who will always and have always
held deep in our hearts now and here after.

My Darling Grandma, You are taking a little part of us with you as you follow your angels who will guide you to your
precious place,
May you look down on us with pride on what you brought
into this world with your guidance in which you are now
truly our angel of grace.

My Darling Grandma, as you enter your new heavenly home,
may you rest in peace for which you truly deserve,
For you will be truly missed and remembered for your love and honor in which we will preserve.
We love you always and forever and may God be with you.

Nanny I never truly got to say how much you meant to me. You were my idol in so many ways. I have countless stories of memories and cherished moments spent with you, from trips in your Lincoln to tops , staying the night and watching the golden girls, singing Travis Tritt, our night time prayers with your patsy cline lullabies, and so many more. Its hard to accept any of this or believe it's even real, I know though you're in heaven able to now look down and see the beautiful family you created togther because of you. I know one day I'll get to see you again and thank you for everything. When it's my time to go I hope the first voice I hear is yours telling me to get my shoes. I love you nanny, with all my heart.

You can only have one mother

You can only have one mother
Patient kind and true;
No other friend in all the world,
Will be the same to you.
When other friends forsake you,
To mother you will return,
For all her loving kindness,
She asks nothing in return.
As we look upon her picture,
Sweet memories we recall,
Of a face so full of sunshine,
And a smile for one and all.
Sweet Jesus, take this message,
To our dear mother up above;
Tell her how we miss her,
And give her all our love.

I love you so much mom. My heart is broken. I will always remember your beautiful smile. i know youre happy and finally free from pain. Please watch over all of us from heaven.
