Debby and family,
We were so saddened to hear about the passing of your mom. Please accept our deepest sympathy to you and your entire family. It has been a long time, but I always remember your mom as such a beautiful, vibrant woman who loved her family deeply and was so caring and compassionate to so many.We hope all the loving memories you hold so dear will help to keep her close to your hearts and give you some peace over time.

Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.

Maina was the reason a small group of women were able to start a prayer group 22 years ago at Holy Angels. Because of her love and care we were able to be together every Tuesday morning and grow our faith and build friendships. Our children will always love and fondly remember grandma Maina. She volunteered for many, many years to babysit while we MOMS gathered and we will never forget her. My now adult daughters were so sad when I shared the news of her passing and it was sweet to hear their memories.Personally, Maina touched me as a very important role model and mother figure. She was always smiling, (and yes, fun and sarcastic) and always inspired me in my faith journey. I will miss seeing her but will always remember her fondly.
