Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

Mr Zeil, Dave, Scott and family,
Words can not express how sorry I am for your loss. Mrs Zeil was so special to us girls in high school (class of 1990). Her warm inviting smile, her laughs and especially her hugs!!! Best hugs ever!!! So many memories of her at the Garfield Rec Center where she loved to sun bathe. I can still hear her laughing it up with her girlfriends as I sat in the lifeguard chair near them. She was always laughing!! She has touched so many lives in such a positive manner. She lit up any place she was at with her positive personality. I know she will be missed! May the memories you had with give you peace and comfort. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Dave and family, So sorry for your loss. Marlene was my best friend and confidant in high school. I became well acquainted with her kindness during all our interactions. She was such a social person enjoying interactions with others more than anything else. She was modest yet proud. Her standards and integrity were beyond reproach. I admired and tried to mirror so many of her qualities. Being around her was a joy. I can slightly imagine your loss of her comfort and fun personality. Please accept my most heartfelt condolences.

I did not personally know Marlene, but I feel like I personally knew Marlene . I work with Dave and I know how much he loves his wife and family. He talks about his wife daily, probably more than he even recognizes. He talks about her great Italian cooking, about her loving her job and all the kids she deals with, and mostly he talks about how much she (they) love their family. I can not imagine the unbearable pain all of you are going through. I am thinking of Dave, family and friends who will be missing her. Remember all the good times and her memory will stay alive in each and every one of you.

I am wishing you all hope in the midst of your sorrow and comfort in the midst of your pain.

Marlene is such a special person. I remember when we first moved to Donovan Drive, right next door, and seeing Marlene sun tanning. Babysitting for the boys and the house was always so clean I would vacumn before you got home. Marlenes famous dolly treats. Marlene helping us clean up after a party before our parents got home. Then Marlene working at the high school, my girls also got the joy of having her in their life. She had so much love in her. She will be missed by all. Marlene was a friend and mentor to the young people she met at GHHS. I will always remember her bright smiling face.
