(nee Gill), age 91, died peacefully at her home with her loving family by her side on October 8, 2018. Beloved wife of the late John Jay Sullivan; dearest mother of Jerome G., Marie T. (Clifford D. Packer), John A., M. Kathleen (Robert M. Balas), James F. (Beth H. Abels), JoAnne M. (Greg M. Woolley), and M. Claire (David C. Gerdes); loving grandmother of Rosalie K. Sullivan, Danika M., Kalen J. and Arianna K. Balas, Hanan M. and Dayo C. Abels-Sullivan, Owen B. Woolley, and M. Corinne Gerdes; devoted daughter of the late James F. and Harriet J. Gill (nee Mueller); dear sister of the late James F., Francis X., Jerome R., and Philip P. Gill. Mary Agnes was born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 6, 1926. She graduated from Villa Angela Academy (1944), Ursuline College with a B.S. in Dietetics and Chemistry (1948), became a Registered Dietician through Johns Hopkins University and Massachusetts General Hospital, and earned a Master's in Public Health Nutrition from Western Reserve University (1954). Early in her career, Mary Agnes worked as a public health dietician at Charity Hospital and taught at St. Luke's Hospital and Notre Dame College. She was Chair of the Hospitality Management Program at Cuyahoga Community College for almost 30 years. Her faith, kindness and charity for all will always be remembered. Contributions may be made in Mary Agnes' name to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank or Catholic Charities of Greater Cleveland. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday October 13, 2018 at 12:00 Noon, at Gesu Catholic Church, 2470 Miramar Blvd, University Hts., OH. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 10000 Miles Ave., Cleveland, OH.
