My 95 year old Aunt Edith was friends with Theresa at Rockport. She would come over and knock on my Aunts door every morning at 10am and they would visit. My Aunt really enjoyed her friendship and misses her greatly. She just mentioned it to me again today. She was able to nurse one of Theresa's plants back to life so thank you for the kind suggestion to give her plants to her friends there. Also thank you to the daughter who made the Indians mask that was given to my Aunt too, it will be another reminder of your Mom. I would usually walk my Aunt down to meals on Saturday and would stop and talk with your Mom too, she was a lovely person and will definitely be missed. My condolences to your entire family. As part of the staff at Mary Bethune School, I got to know Mrs. Mommers as the exceptionally efficient and multi-talented school clerk. She was friendly, capable, and a great asset to the principal, James Hobbs. It was a pleasure to visit with her in the school office. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I came to know Therese through our red hat group, She always had a quiet elegance about her, She would participate in gatherings when her health would permit. She never complained and had a ready smile. What a beautiful person in so many ways. Joanne M. Sysack

Therese and I made a Cursio together many years ago. In some ways it seems like yesterday and the experience that we shared was deep and very meaningful. I liked her, and your late dad, very much. Please accept my sincerest condolences.
