LeeAnn and I went to school at Evans Elementary. Her mother would visit our house often and she would spend time talking to my mother while LeeAnn and I would play games and chat. Your mother was so nice and smiled a lot. I am sorry for your families loss. Big Hugs

We never seemed to run out of things to talk about. Tired as we were, each night in our hotel room at AVSA National Conventions, we stayed up sharing ideas to use to make any future convention better. In her super organized fashion, Shirley put the thoughts down in writing and presented them for future considerations. I loved her talent for staging and especially making miniature African Violet flower arrangements. They were always blue ribbon winners. Simple but elegant was her manner.
