Arthur Mauldin, 89, died at his home in Littleton, Colorado, on Friday, January 29, 2021.
Born, February 14, 1931, in Milnesand, New Mexico, he grew up in Albuquerque and moved to Littleton in 1976. Art was a dynamic personality who spent the last 45 years of his life owning and operating the La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries in the Denver market growing the business from a single store to five of the top performing stores in North America. Art will be remembered for his sense of humor, his love of animals, and his passion for the furniture business.
He is survived by his wife, Magdalen Mauldin; his children, Jeffrey Mauldin, Andrea Mauldin-Garduño, Stephen Mauldin, Kevin Mauldin, Brian Mauldin, and Mark Mauldin. Arthur was preceded in death by his son, Gary Mauldin. Arthur and Magdalen have 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
