Big smile, big heart, kind soul; such inner strength. Lots of great family memories to help mend our broken hearts. (And, Bud, you win this time; Mom did love you more!)

I only know early memories of the Gaylor family. My mother (Cora Bishoprick) started a 4-H club with my brother Stan, one of Bud's brothers (Roland or Larry) and a few other boys in the Harney School neighborhood. I was very young, but I remember my father arranged for the family to get an older family transport vehicle from (?) a funeral parlor to accommodate a large family. Reading Bud's obit makes me proud of his accomplishments. His mentoring of young children would make my parents proud, completing a full circle in Bud's life and theirs. Bud was a wonderful brother and a true friend to Larry and I. The laughter and warmth will always be cherished, never forgotten. Love to his amazing wife and family.

My dearest favorite one of a kind uncle I will cherish all my memories. Learning how to swim and spending my summers at his home to being tickled to death, I am so thankful for him in my life.

When I started dialysis, I was very young (22) and thought everyone was old (LOL)! I never imagined the friendships I would have made, or the Family I would have gained. You and Phyllis always made Taitum and I feel so loved! Thank you for being the BEST (adopted) Grandpa, for coming to piano recitals and having us over to swim (even if you usually fell asleep ). We always knew you loved us.. You are already, and will be forever, so greatly missed. ❤

My condolences to Phyllis and all of Bud's family. We were lifelong friends from our early days at Harney Elementary, through Vancouver Hi and our East Vancouver neighborhood. Many great times fishing and camping and just hanging out. We always got together on my times home from the Navy.
