Not sure what to say?

I knew Colin and Aaron when they first started in a grocery store. My God! They were a handful. Through thick and thin, Colin was consistently smiling. Half the time working on some scheme, I am sure. Once he became a I father, he lit up everytime he spoke of his children. It was obvious that he was a very proud Father. I am not sure what happened, but I hope those left behind understand that his love was never ending. You will be missed Colins....

I have known Colin for almost 30 years now, we were both working our way through management in stores at the same time. I remember clearly meeting him wayyy back when at Hollywood West when I was a part time cashier, he sold me a car stereo on the cheap for my 1982 Honda Accord. It had a removable faceplate and I thought it was so fancy. For the next decade and a half we worked in stores near each other, I called Colin countless times looking for product, freight help, closing PIC's, what have you. He was always cheerful and upbeat, and always willing to lend a hand and help me out. I am so saddened by his passing. RIP Colin, and all my prayers to your family and loved ones.

Colin was a great friend, I have known him for nearly 20 years now. He helped out when I was going through a rough divorce, by giving me a shoulder to cry on and a couch to sleep on. He loved life and enjoyed making the most of every minute. I remember on our lunch breaks, when at the same store or close. We would go play pool and complain or laugh about the day we were having. If not playing pool on lunch, Colin would take me to the crazy nice houses under construction, on the hills around Portland area. Wed walk around them and hed always say, One day, Ill move my family into a home like this. He loved his kids above All else and would have caught the moon for them, if he could. Colin was the great giver of nicknames, mine being Skater Girl. Hed always throw his hands up and yell, Skater girl, when hed see me. Colin you are loved by many as you have touched so Many lives. Your Life and passing will not be forgotten to the ones for whom you have helped heal and impacted in so many ways. Ill you see on the other side my friend, RIP.

Colin was a life long friend of my son. They shared many antics together! Some are more memorable, than others! Colin has always had a kind heart and would do anything, for you. Who could stay mad at him, when he gave you his sheepish grin! He will be greatly missed, by all those who knew him.

I was so sorry to wake up to Colin's obituary, this morning.
I have known him professionally for over 20 years . He always at store level , and I as a sales rep. We knew a lot of the same people , as we had both started with independent grocers .
Colin was at many different FredMeyer stores. I was always so happy to run into him again and his newest store . He had a way of making you feel that what ever you were sent there to do, he was going to help you by making sure it got done .
Right after Fred Meyer started allowing associates wear jeans , another rep was teasing him about his designer jeans . I said Obviously, Colin has a daughter that won't let him wear Dad jeans , You're just jealous!
Colin just burst out laughing. I will miss him so much ! He will be forever missed in the grocery business. He was a class act.
My condolences to all his family and friends.

I was so sad to wake up this morning to see Colin's obituary.
I have known him professionally for over20 years . We knew a lot of the same people , being we both started in the business at independent grocers
When Colin was at Fred Meyer , he was at many stores. He had such a great knack at making you feel that what you were doing was just as important or even more important as what he was doing . If I ever needed help getting something accomplished in a store , I was very grateful Colin was there. I so enjoyed re connecting with him every time I saw him.
One time , after Fred Meyer started allowing associates to wear jeans, a vendor was teasing him about his designer jeans . I interrupted and said , Obviously Colin has a daughter, because she won't let him wear Dad jeans ! We had a good laugh , over that .
He was such a great man, and I will miss him very much.
My deep condolences to the family .

Colin was a special part of my life since this past June. I only saw him briefly and at work but I had tremendous fun sharing things with him to take home to show his boys. His eyes lit up for science and whimsy. He liked what I like. Very cool being blessed to know him. My greatest condolences to his friends and family. I know he will be missed by a lot of good people. Rest in peace, Colin.

Colin was a huge part of our family, he has spent the last 5 years building a life with my sister Heather. He was a great stepfather to her kids Ethan (now 10) and Liam (now 7) they adored him, they have spent the majority of their little lives with Colin in it. It is so sad he is no longer with us, I offer my deepest condolences to everyone dealing with this tragedy. I know it has been very difficult for my entire family, especially my sister and her boys.
