GARY K. RHODEHOUSE
October 27, 1946 - December 27, 2020

Gary Rhodehouse passed away Dec. 27, 2020, at his home in Washougal, WA. He was born to Opal and Kay Rhodehouse in Vancouver, WA, on Oct. 27, 1946, the second of three children.
After attending Hudson’s Bay High School, Gary joined the Army, where he spent four years traveling overseas. Upon returning home from the service, Gary was reunited with wife, Karen (Corkey) Cameron. He joined his dad working in the Heat and Frost Insulators Union Local 36, where he retired several years ago.
Gary enjoyed spending time in the kitchen, cooking and entertaining family and friends. His incredible “Mulligan Stew” was always a big hit! Fishing was always on Gary’s list of favorite activities. “Alaska” proved to be an all-time favorite place of his. His sense of humor and big heart was enjoyed by all who knew him.
Gary was preceded in death by his father, mother and youngest sister, Vickie Goodman.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Karen (Corkey) Rhodehouse; two daughters, Patty Rhodehouse and Sherry Sprague, both of Vancouver; sister, Barbra Arionus, of La Center, WA; and five grandchildren, Ashley and Kayley Bazurto, Taylor Cramer, Brady and Brenden Cramer.
The family invites those who wish to pay their respects to stop by their house between noon and 5 p.m., on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021, where a memorial tent will be set up. Refreshments will be provided.
