Nancy was a true friend and inspiration. I am lucky to call her a friend and mentor. She was committed and passionate about her community. Many organizations and people will bear the fruits of her labor for many years to come. Thank you for all you did. Rest in peace, dear Nancy.

Nancy was a real source of pride in our community. We were so fortunate to have her representing us with the Port situation. She also was a member of The Covington House Heritage Society. This is where we connected most of tthe time. She surely will be missed. I donated in her honor to the Altzheimer's association in her honor, and did the walk, Sept. 8, 2019. All of us will miss Nancy's leadership and devotion to us.

Nancy was a generous & loving woman. Her depth of personal & positive actions & a lifetime of caring words & deeds have inspired & touched me.
Two nights ago I dreamed of our late mutual friend Marie Day whose final months and days were enriched with Nancy's deep friendship & caring.
The spirit of these 2 guardian angels will always be with me.

I met you way back in the "Vancouver Furniture" days and have remained friends since.

We've had some good times, serious times, and laughs over the years.

You have contributed so much to our community. We will always remember you as a Clark County Leader!

I know her cousin Gary was waiting for her. My deepest sympathy and love!

Mindy, Randy and family: We are so sorry for your loss. My friend Nancy loved her family, friends and community. She will be missed. I plan to attend her Celebration of Life at WareHouse '23 Saturday at 2:00. It will be a great time for friends to show their respect for a life well lived.

Oh my, I am so sorry to read this. I came to know Nancy through local politics and later during her tenure as the Port of Vancouver's first woman commissioner. I always found her feisty spirit invigorating, and somewhat surprising for someone who, at first glance, may have seemed quietly reserved in demeanor. She was tenacious when she believed in something passionately and cared deeply about her community, her family and friends. My last visit with her was after she left her port position. We shared coffee and a pastry at Latte Da and reminisced, laughed and hugged. Her spirit remains present with me.
