Perry, how I will miss you. I am so thankful for you and our friendship. I miss our bi-weekly phone calls and your goofy jokes. You were such a beautiful, bright spot in my life. Prayers to your family and love to your sweet pups.
Until we meet again, my friend.

We will miss you Perry.

Of all the memories for 47 years, This is the one that I choose and share:

I was 8 years old when i remember watching my sister ADA Morris get her engagement ring it was Christmas. Perry had brought in the biggest box with a bow around it and sat beside ADA as she opened it...
Then she opened the next big box, then she opened the next box.. you get the picture. each box she opened had an item in it. one box even had a cinder block in it.
Picture this we were all waiting, anticipating as a child what we would see her get next out of many, many boxes. At last she opened a very small ring box. All this while we sat and laughed and clapped. telling her to open the next box, and PERRY was sitting next to her smiling. the last box. a very small box had a message in it, (and I am sorry I do not remember what that message said, but I remember her loving smile as she looked at Perry) that was all. I remember her face when she looked at him and smiled because she finally saw her engagement ring on the tip of HIS little finger (it had been there the whole time).
Oh, what a wonderful imagination and sense of humor. Perry will always be remembered as one of the Best Men in the world. We were all so thankful and blessed, to have him in our lives.
He has gone to be with his ADA, and we all miss him, but I know he is happier now for a life full of wonderful happenings. He was truly Blessed by God, to have such a great wife, family and his children made him Happy beyond belief. Thank you, God for Sharing Perry, with us all.
