Rick and Lana,
So sorry for the loss of your son. We lost our son after 26 years fighting cancer, and in a way familiar with the pain you're going through, although we can't know the full extent of your grief now and in the days ahead. If there is any thing we can do to help we stand ready.

It is disheartening to hear of this loss. I lived around the corner from Chris on Spottswood near "Memphis State" and was graced with his positive smile and presence for many years...... He was a fantastic friend and neighbor and will be sorely missed by many. Chris, Love your sweet heart. Words cannot express my sadness upon hearing the news. RIP dear friend! Thinking of family and friends during this difficult time.

I had the pleasure of meeting Chris a few years back thru one of his great friends Leah Donahue. I came to know him very well when he came to live with me for a few months. After he moved to Arkansas he would still make a point to come visit. He was so happy and in such a great place in his life. My thoughts are with his family at this very sad time. He always talked about his love for his parents especially his mom. He loved her so much. I will miss you Chris.

As my son, Dan was a classmate of Chris, I was fortunate to know him as a teenager. We in the Fields family enjoyed his sense of humor and the many times he came to our home. Rick and Lana, may the peace of God which passes all understanding be with you in the days which you are facing.
