I went to church with Donna at Central Church. She was a light unto so many women. I remember her encouragement, smiles and love and her great sense of humor. Boy she was a prayer warrior most of all. She will be missed. May God bless the family and give them comfort and love.

I grew up with Donna, spent many a childhood hour with her, laughed so much! What a joy she was. I was the maid of honor when she married her dear husband, Tim. Donna had a strong faith, she believed in the power of prayer. She loved a good joke and she loved gospel music. She loved her family dearly. She was the life of the party, she was intense in her presence, she gave fully to those she loved. Her battle with the multiple health issues that were so much a part of her life for so many years did not destroy her shining spirit. I am glad her battle is over and she can finally rest in the presence of our Lord who she loved so much and served so faithfully. I am blessed that her life touched mine in the powerful way that it did. My heart is with Tim , Casey, Timmy and Rena, Noah, Lily, & Amelia. Rest in heavenly peace Donna. You will be missed, but one day, we will all be together....

I knew Donna for over 20 years without having met her in person. In 1997, we "met" on a message forum on AOL for Christians with lupus. We and several other women across the country have been a part of each other's lives ever since.

Donna was always the prayer warrior of our group. You could depend upon her to pray if you asked her to. She also brought a positive attitude to the group. In over the 20 years, I don't think I ever heard her express a negative feeling toward anyone, nor did I hear (or read!) her complain about her illness. She was always encouraging us to look to Jesus. She enriched the lives of many people on the internet and I'm sure she did so in real life as well. I thank God for allowing us to know her and trust that she is now enjoying full health, joy and life in the presence of God. Thanks, and goodbye for now, friend!

I am praying for her family and friends.

Our precious Donna, you are going to be missed beyond words. All of your Lupus sisters love you so much. I pray for your beautiful family as they say goodbye to you. You will remain always in our hearts and thoughts. Rest my beautiful friend.
