Thanks to so many who loved honored and respected this wonderful husband of mine. We all know he was one of a kind. He had a heart of gold and loved to make everyone laugh. Words can't say how much he will be missed even down to seeing that old truck coming down the road and into the drive. The Lord has a very special Angel. I Love You Ed Goldsby Jr.

My wife and I met Ed about 5 years ago because he would drive up and down our road and we would wave at each other. One day he stopped in. We became fast friends. Ed would stop by from time to time and we would sit and have an afternoon beer. Nancy, my wife, would feed us snacks. Ed and I would tell stories and laugh. We really enjoyed being around each other.

Ed called me the afternoon before his surgery to fill me in. I was surprised that he was requiring open heart surgery. He was always so tough, strong, and full of life. And then when Ernestine called me and said that he had passed the night before the surgery, my wife and I were shocked. We will sorely miss Ed. We loved him.

Ed was always joking. Full of smiles. Great person.
Our hearts go out to the family and to Ernestine.
Going to miss you Ed.
