I met George many years ago at our annual Blue River Turkey Camp in Southern Indiana, we became friends immediately and have only got closer as time has passed. I called in many of the turkeys he killed in Indiana and he became a member of our Big Red Barn Club by killing one or more from a huge old red barn on a farm near Laconia Indiana, it was a standing joke among turkey camp followers. I am honored to have been called a friend by George, my heart goes out to his family, I loved him and will miss him. God Bless George and his family.

George and I became hunting companions 30 years ago on his annual pheasant hunt in South Dakota. I realized immediately George loved his family, friends, and hunting. Our annual fellowship quickly became an important part of my life and all of his South Dakota friends will miss his infectious personality.

Norah, I feel so blessed to have been able to get to know you and George when you two were visiting Vince and Kristi! You both are such loving people, and I am honored to have had the pleasure.

I am sorry to hear of George passing. I grew up with Bobby Parker and always remembered him as "Pete" and what a great person he grew up to be.
