Well Philip, you've done it again. Whenever we met, there was business on the table: Cruzen Equipment Company and Gilbarco. Sometimes we agreed. Sometimes we didn't. But always I was treated like family. And always we laughed. Fast forward. When I saw the video of you singing It Had To Be You to Julia at her wedding, I cried. With joy. Don and Joan explained you first started singing this to her (what a voice!) when she was in her crib. Wow! Now you're making me cry again. To Kathleen and all your family: I look forward to the day when all of you are in a place you can roar with laughter. Without crying.

I have learned in life that people will forget what you said, what you did, but they won't forget how you treated them or made them feel. Philip always treated me with respect and made me feel like family. I will miss his smile, laughter and especially his warm friendship.

I will always have fond memories of Phillip at Ole Miss and at many games in Oxford as the years passed. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family at this time. ZLAM, Betty Coe Sr., Betty Coe and Kathleen. I am sorry that I cannot be there. Fondly always, 'Haynie' (Cathy Haynie Roe)
