I was one of Mrs. Houston's room mother when my daughter had her in 1st grade at Ross Elementary school 28 years ago. What an asset she was to the teaching profession. May she and her father Lance Russell rest in peace

Mrs. Houston was the assistant principal when I taught at Macon Hall. She a model for every educator. Her care for each and every student, parent, and teacher was most commendable. As a Christian she was tremendous asset to her profession. Prayers and sympathy to her dear family.

I miss Mrs.Houston so much she was the assistant principal ever .I adore her and always read because of Mrs.Houston. I still go to Macon Hall and Its going to be my last year here because of middle school. Teachers and students are still upset about it .I understand but I decided to move on because I know thats what Mrs. Houston would have wanted us to do. So I stay positive and always have book in my hand in memory of Mrs.Houston.
