Virginia Clara Owens May, 84, passed away June 23, 2017 in Senatobia, MS. She was a homemaker and the widow of Roger May and Delmar May. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral service at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, both at Brantley-Phillips Funeral Home of Hernando. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Independence, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lia Owens and her daughter Wanda Wells. Five daughters; Pat Smith (Glenn) of Knoxville, TN., Judy Looney (Warren) of Arkabutla, MS., Connie Brewer (Mike) of Memphis, TN., Brenda Barth (Steve) of Dallas, GA., Denise May of Arkabutla, MS, one son Billy May of Arkabutla, MS.; two sisters Linda Hamlett of Little Rock, AR. and Joyce Parscale of Chattanooga, TN., 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, five great great-grandchildren.
