Carmen Jean Querbach

July 10, 1935 - May 6, 2021

Known by Carmen and Jean she was loved as Mom, Mother, Gramma, Gigi, ... and more. Born in Iowa City, Iowa, she met Wayne Querbach through a mutual Airforce friend. They fell in love, lived the military life from Omaha to Puerto Rico and back. Wayne's successful sales carreer path brought the family to Conroe, Texas in 1972. She was a mom to anyone, an encourager, and a giver who shared her loving heart with everyone. She had a passion for angels so no doubt she is surrounded by them now. Carmen Jean, the oldest of 9 brothers and sisters, is survived by Peggy Fields, Marvin Sanders and Dwain Moore. Deceased siblings include David Sanders, Shirley Broughton. Connie Santo, Carolyn Sanders and Larry Moore. She had three children, David Querbach,wife Necole; Gary Querbach (deceased) and Karen Querbach, husband David Zandi. Grandchildren include Jeff Querbach, wife Sarah; Jonathan Zandi; Eric Querbach; Adam Querbach ,wife Zeena; Austin Querbach; Travis Querbach, wife Erin, Jessica Brocato, and Lauren McDevitt.

Great great grandchildren are Dominik and Korbin Querbach, Aiden and Leila Querbach, Olivia Zandi and Autumn Querbach.

The family will receive friends at McNutt Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday May 21, 2021. The funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021 at McNutt Funeral Home, followed by a reception at McNutt Funeral Home's Texas Hall. Burial will be held at Garden Park Cemetery in Conroe.
