Gary Remmert passed away on February 19, 2016. Of the things he was most proud were his years of marriage to Vera Remmert, his children, his six grandchildren and one angel grandchild who awaited him in heaven. A veteran, he served his country in Vietnam. A hard worker, Gary had a long and successful career in insurance sales. He was a loyal fan of the University of Houston Cougars and loved working in his yard. As a firm believer in Jesus, he now rests comfortably with his Savior in heaven.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Werner and Evelyn Remmert and grandson, Chase Haynes. He is survived by his loving wife, Elvira Remmert, son, Jason Remmert and wife Elisa, daughter, Cindy Haynes and husband Damon, grandchildren, Xavier and Logan Remmert, Cole, Tyler, Madison and Naomi Haynes, brother, Ronald Remmert and wife Gracie. Numerous other relatives and a host of friends also survive.
