age 67, passed away unexpectedly on September 1, 2014. She was born on May 28, 1947 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. As a youth, she entered the Miss Ozaukee Pageant in 1965 and finished in the top 10 to become the next Miss America contestant for the state of Wisconsin's. She was also a member of the band known as The Memories with her sister, Theresa. She graduated from Port Washington High School in 1965 and attended Graduate School at St. Mary's Catholic School. She had a passion for Corvettes, music, traveling and people in her early life. Judith started work as a secretary for Cutler Hammer Inc. in Milwaukee Wisconsin before moving to Houston, Texas in 1973 to start her career for Exxon Mobil. She was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, June Kloss, and her sister, Theresa Jane Hains. She is survived by her son, Ernest "Skip" Agness and wife Kathryn; granddaughter, Shannon Agness; and father, Paul Stanley Kloss.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Friday, September 5, 2014 at Sts. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, 26777 Glen Loch Drive, Spring, TX 77381.
Judith was very passionate for animals and donated to the ASPCA. She was also a volunteer for United Way while working for Exxon Mobil. Judy and I met when we worked at Cutler Hammer together. I was in her wedding party and she was my matron of honor on June 6, 1970 when I married my husband Tom. My condolences to all who loved her, she was very special and will be always be remembered for her love of life and the adventure of her spirit.
