My heart is broken with the passing of Margaret. She was my college best friend and maid of honor at my wedding. Our busy lives separated us for a time, but I was so blessed to be able to reconnect and visit with her a year ago. Her joy and love of life and pure heart, her convictions and passion to help the least of these, her loyalty and kindness, her love and support of her family and friends are unmatched. I always looked up to how she would live life to the fullest, reaching out to new experiences not in fear, but in expectation of good. We loved to talk about the verse John 14:2 "My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?" Margaret and I would promise to find the rooms next to each other. I pray daily that her Father's peace will be with Jim and London and her parents and all her family and thank God with all my heart for the gift of Margaret.

I was so saddened to hear about Margaret's passing. We were school friends way back in Friendswood. She was always a shining light, continued to do so through her career, and no doubt continues to do so now. Living in Montgomery County myself, it was always fun to run into Margaret and spend a few moments catching up on each other's lives. I know she made a huge difference in the lives of many Montgomery County children and families. My prayers go out to her family, especially her son. No doubt he will carry his mother's love and passion with him always.

As a child, I went to Church with Margaret (and Alicia and Mr. and Mrs. Lay) and I am so saddened by this news. I will continue to pray for the Lays and their extended family, and I know Margaret gave them so much for which to give thanks to God. May His peace and comfort be with them and with her son. I also send the sympathy of my parents, Wilson and Jo Nell Ardis.

I've known Margaret since she was 11 years old when I married her cousin, Bill Palmer. She was always loving and caring...a gift to all. Margaret stood beside me during many hard times. Her love of our Heavenly Father was a Light that Shined strongly throughout her life. My heart is very sad, but I know she is now without any pain and suffering with the Lord she knew and loved. I will hold Maragaret in my heart.

Hugs to your entire family and I pray that God gives you the strength for understanding and eases your pain while he reveals his plans for you.
