was born on June 26, 1936 to Frank and Olive Fruia Sr., of Houston , Texas . She entered into eternal glory on April 19, 2015, at the age of 78 in Conroe , Texas after a long battle with cervical cancer. She was baptized at Oakwood United Methodist Church in Houston . Ollie was a 1954 graduate of Jefferson Davis High School in Houston . She is a descendant of the Fruia and McDougle families in the Houston surrounding areas.
Ollie was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Olive Fruia Sr., her sister, Geraldine Mikolajewski and brother Frank Fruia Jr. and their spouses. She is survived by her daughters, Diana (Reed) Chain and Karen (Reed) Grimmett Roberts and her husband, Bobby Roberts all of Conroe , Texas . Grandchildren: Mark Chain, Christopher Barley, Crystal Grimmett, Michelle Grimmett and Brack Grimmett. Great-grandchildren: Isaiah Aguilar and Brendan Noakes. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends whom she dearly loved.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6 pm until 8 pm on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Eickenhorst Funeral Services, 1712 N. Frazier at Wilson, Suite 115, Conroe, Texas 77301. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church-Conroe, 4309 W. Davis St., Conroe , Texas . Internment will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery , Houston , Texas . Those wishing to post tributes and memories to the family may do so at www.eickenhorstfuneral.com
